Answer Center
The Answer Center is available to students via phone during day/evening hours and via email for after hours to get information and questions answered about Schoolcraft College.
Athletics
Schoolcraft College Athletics offers its student-athletes the opportunity to compete in 10 Men’s and Women’s intercollegiate sports. Students are encouraged to attend games to cheer on their fellow Ocelots.
Bookstore
The Schoolcraft College Bookstore is a local bookstore serving the students, faculty and staff of Schoolcraft College with pride. Our primary goal is to ensure students are able to obtain the course materials they need at reasonable prices. We also provide many other items to support your academic career and school spirit. Campus Police
The Schoolcraft College Police Department is on duty 24-hours a day, seven days a week. Officers are available to investigate criminal incidents and provide assistance with medical emergencies — or help if you are simply locked out of your vehicle or have a dead battery.

Career Mentorship and Placement
Career Mentorship and Placement offers career readiness programs such as resume tips, interview preparation, career mentorship and job placement.
Cashier’s Office
The Cashier’s Office is located near the front entrance to the McDowell Center on the college’s main campus in Livonia. Services include making a payment and purchasing gift cards.
Clubs and Student Activities
Schoolcraft College believes that out-of-classroom activities are essential to the total collegiate educational experience. Students are encouraged to participate in one or more college-sponsored extracurricular activities for their personal enrichment and growth.

Email for Students
Email is our only form of communication for financial aid, registration, waitlisting, and other important college information. All messages will be sent to your Schoolcraft College provided email account.
All credit students will be assigned a SCmail account within 24 hours of applying for admission. Students are expected to access their SCmail account regularly and will be held accountable for information shared or provided via email account.
Financial Aid and Scholarships
A college education is one of the most important investments anyone can make. Schoolcraft College understands that students often need help to finance their education. Financial aid programs can provide students with options that may assist them in meeting educational expenses and achieving their educational goals. Fitness Center
The Schoolcraft College Fitness Center is available meet your health and fitness needs. The Fitness Center is a fully equipped facility with over 110 pieces of state of the art equipment, locker rooms, complimentary towel service and professional staff.
Food Pantry
The Schoolcraft College Food Pantry is open to all members of the campus community. We’re committed to trying to address hunger and food insecurity issues on campus.

Hinkle Student Resource Center
The Hinkle Student Resource Center is a compassionate, inclusive environment that provides advocacy and resources for the campus and surrounding community, helping to assist women and men in experiencing an empowered life through our programs and resources. The Hinkle Student Resource Center promotes success and nurtures holistic growth and development through various opportunities, activities, and events.
International Honorary Scholastic Society – Phi Theta Kappa
The Phi Theta Kappa Society is an international honorary scholastic society serving two-year colleges offering associate degree programs.
International Institute
The mission of the Schoolcraft College International Institute (SCII) is to coordinate cross-cultural learning opportunities for students, faculty, staff and the community.
The Institute strives to enhance the international content of coursework, programs, and other Schoolcraft College activities so participants better appreciate both the diversities and commonalities among world cultures, and better understand the global forces shaping people’s lives.
Lost and Found
All items that are found on campus should be turned over to the Schoolcraft College Police Department where they will be recorded and held in the Lost and Found. If you have lost an item, call the Schoolcraft College Police Department at 734-462-4424.
Mental Health Support
Music and Theatre Performance Groups
Schoolcraft College features music ensembles and theatre productions to allow students opportunities to perform or act.
Orientation
All new students who do not have previous college or university experience are required to complete new student orientation.
Distance Learning:
Students enrolling in Distance Learning courses should complete the Distance Learning orientation.
Personal & Professional Learning
Schoolcraft College offers classes and programs designed to meet the needs of our students, the community and area businesses. Personal & Professional Learning (PPL) classes cover a wide variety of fitness, art, cooking and other options. No college credits are issued, but often CEUs can be earned. A continuing education class is a great way to learn something new, relax, get fit or meet people with similar interests.
Prior Learning Credits
The college recognizes that students have attended other institutions or have earned college-level learning from non-college sources. The college offers several options for evaluating prior learning and/or college-level credit earned outside of Schoolcraft College.
Report an Incident or Concern
We believe that everyone is responsible for upholding the core values of respect and responsibility; this includes working together to keep our campus safe. SC aware provides a safe place where members of the college community can report concerns, threatening behavior or well-being concerns without the fear of retaliation.

Senior Discount
Schoolcraft College offers tuition discounts for senior citizens. In order to receive the senior discount, persons sixty (60) years of age or older must verify their age with the Registration Center on main campus at the time of registration or prior to the start of the class.
Service Learning
Service-Learning links academic courses and voluntarism to benefit both students and community. Service-Learning builds relationships between academic theory and “real-world” application, fosters a sense of civic responsibility, and kindles an interest in lifelong learning. Knowledge, personal growth, and skills developed through service-learning are assessed as learning outcomes and transfer to professional life.
Student Accounts
If you are using MET or another third party to pay your tuition, you should contact our Student Accounts Office to learn about the processes associated with third party payments. Some examples of third parties are: Michigan Works, Michigan Rehabilitation Services or Ford Motor Company. The Student Account office also handles Dual Enrollment payment arrangements, and oversees the tuition payment plan.
Student Employment
Schoolcraft Student Employment connects students with jobs on campus. Over 350 students work on campus each school year and you can find them in the Bookstore, Main Street Café, the Duplication Design Center, IT Support, and many other places on campus. Student employment has many perks: working with other students, connecting with staff and faculty, convenient locations and schedules, and developing professional skills.
Student Newspaper – The Schoolcraft Connection
The Schoolcraft Connection is the award winning student newspaper at Schoolcraft College. Their mission is to publish news and feature stories, editorials and opinions relevant to the campus community while upholding the highest professional and ethical standards. The Connection is a free bimonthly publication and circulates throughout campus and can also be found online.Being a student-managed publication, The Connection gives an opportunity for students regardless of their major to learn and apply journalism skills.
Student Relations
The Student Relations Office helps students and promotes campus community by carrying out the following functions:
- Hearing and responding to complaints
- Helping students with qualifying extenuating circumstances, request late drop, withdrawal (“W” grade) or retake credits
- Helping students who aren’t sure where to go for help
- Addressing concerning behaviors
- Addressing misconduct
- Teaching students how to prevent and respond to interpersonal violence
Transcript Request
Outgoing Transcripts:
Schoolcraft College has partnered with the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) to provide the service of secure online ordering and delivery of Schoolcraft transcripts. Safe, fast, secure, and easy, it is the most efficient way to order your official transcripts.
Incoming Transcripts:
Transcripts are valuable assessment and course placement tools. Credit for courses taken at other institutions and courses that can be used to waive prerequisites can be determined by providing the College with your final high school and official college transcripts.
Veterans Resource Center
Schoolcraft College Veterans Resource Center provides assistance to veterans and military members as prospective or current students. We are honored to work with military personnel and their families.
