Tuition Incentive Program (TIP)
The Tuition Incentive Program (TIP) is an incentive program that encourages eligible students to complete high school by providing tuition assistance for the first two years of college and beyond.
To meet the financial eligibility requirement a student must have (or have had) Medicaid coverage for 24 months with a 36 consecutive month period as identified by the Michigan Department of Human Services (DHS). Students must be registered in a minimum of six credits each semester and meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) in order to be eligible.

To have TIP awarded at Schoolcraft College: Complete and submit the Tuition Incentive Program Request Form with required documents.
Michigan Competitive Scholarship (MCS)
The Michigan Competitive Scholarship program is available to an undergraduate student pursuing their first degrees at an approved Michigan Postsecondary institution.
Students must demonstrate both financial need and merit and eligible applicants must achieve a qualifying SAT score prior to entering college. Students must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements in order to be eligible. Students must have a 2.0 cumulative GPA.

To have MCS awarded at Schoolcraft College: Complete the FAFSA by the State of Michigan deadline of March 1st. Students will be awarded based on the roster sent to the school by the State of Michigan.
Michigan Indian Tuition Waiver
Michigan residents who are Native North Americans and are certified one-quarter blood quantum by their tribal association may be eligible for tuition assistance funds. The award is determined by the State of Michigan Department of Civil Rights.
Michigan Reconnect
Michigan Reconnect is a scholarship program that pays for you to attend Schoolcraft college tuition-free. You can use the scholarship to complete an associate degree or a skill certificate program.
Community College Guarantee
If your the class of class of 2023 and beyond, you may be eligible for free or reduced tuition and fees.
Detroit Promise Path Scholarship
Charles E. Schell Foundation Loan Program
The Charles E. Schell Foundation is providing students with loans that will be awarded to qualified students to aid them in securing a practical education that, without this loan, probably would not be attainable. Repayment of this loan will ensure assistance for other students to continue their education.
