The Sexual Assault Prevention Program Videos for Students
All students are expected to complete the online, video based Sexual Assault Prevention for Community College educational program. This program consists of 9 online videos that teach students how to recognize, prevent and respond to interpersonal violence. The videos are:
- Pre assessment (2 mins)
- Introduction (2 min)
- Values, Identities, and Relationships (13 mins)
- Understanding Our Identities (10 mins)
- Sexual Harassment and Stalking (4 mins)
- Consent, Coercion, and Bystander Intervention (6 mins)
- Reporting Options and Responding to a survivor (4 mins)
- Conclusion (1 min)
- Final Assessment (2 mins)
The program includes a pre-test and a post-test; the student must score 80% or higher on the post-test to complete the program. Students can view videos again before retaking the post-test. Students can print a certificate to prove they completed the program.

How long does it take?
The program takes 50 to 65 minutes to complete. Students can log out and log back in to complete the program in several sittings. One video is 13 minutes; the others range from 2 to 3 ½ minutes.

Wellness: These videos promote Emotional, Social and Environmental wellness; these are part of the 8 Dimensions of Wellness that form the foundation of Student Activities Office events and programming at Schoolcraft.
Compliance: The federal government requires colleges to conduct awareness and education programs for faculty, staff and students on how to stand up against interpersonal violence.
