SC BeWell is a mental health and wellness support program provided by Schoolcraft College for students. It offers free virtual counseling, self-guided wellness programs and more to help students navigate life’s challenges.

At Schoolcraft College, we understand the importance of mental health and its impact on student success. That’s why we’ve introduced SC BeWell, a new, free resource offering a range of mental health and wellness support services to our students. Whether you’re dealing with stress, academic pressures, relationship challenges, or feeling overwhelmed, SC BeWell provides tools to help you prioritize your well-being.

This program is available to all students, regardless of whether they’re attending classes on campus or online. SC BeWell offers 24/7 virtual counseling, wellness programs, and immediate access to teletherapy through UWill, our trusted vendor.

With the generous support of the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation and The Ballmer Group, through the Detroit Drives Degrees Community College Collaborative (D3C3) initiative, we aim to foster a healthy and supportive campus environment.


What SC BeWell Offers

  • 24/7 Virtual Counseling: Access immediate teletherapy appointments and crisis support.
  • Self-Guided Wellness Programs: Explore resources on topics like mental health, fitness, and academic performance through our Wellness Hub.
  • On-Campus Support: Limited in-person counseling sessions are available for current students.

How does it work?

With Uwill, you can select a therapist tailored to your specific needs and preferences—whether it’s their focus area, gender, language, or ethnicity—at a time that works best for you. You also get to choose your preferred appointment format, including video, phone, chat, or messaging.

Who is eligible for SC BeWell?

All Schoolcraft College students enrolled in credit courses, whether on campus or online, are eligible for the program.

How do I access SC BeWell services?

Students can access SC BeWell services by registering through the UWill platform. After registering, you’ll be able to book teletherapy appointments, access crisis support, and explore wellness resources.

What kind of mental health services are offered?
