My grandfathers, aunt, uncle, and 2 cousins have proudly served, each in a different branch of the military. My aunt died 5 years ago due to health complications from unknowingly handling agent orange during her time in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. She never took a penny from her earned veteran’s benefits, saying the honor was serving her country, and she knew her life was at stake then and now. Our gratitude can never match the sacrifices willingly made by our Veterans.
