Lap Swim

Lap swim is designed for participants to enjoy lap swimming in the pool in a non-instructional setting. We offer both paid and drop-in lap swim times.

Paid Lap Swim

Participants who want to secure their lap swim spot can register for paid lap swim sessions. These sessions are limited to a small group of students.

Drop-In Lap Swim

Participation is free for PPL students, Credit students, Fitness Center Members and Schoolcraft College Faculty/Staff

Current students must bring a copy of their current schedule and I.D. each time to sign out a Pool Pass at the Fitness Center front desk. Currently working Faculty and Staff must show their Employee I.D. each time to sign out a Pool Pass at the Fitness Center front desk. All Fitness Center Members and Guests must receive a Pool Pass at the Fitness Center front desk in order to participate.

Cost for participants who are not current students, Fitness Center members, or faculty/staff is $7 per person (regardless of water participation), payable at the Fitness Center front desk. Pool passes will distributed upon receipt of payment and must be shown to the lifeguard prior to entering the water. Participants who are non-active students must be at least 18 years of age to swim.

Lane 1 is for walking and stretching.
Lanes 2–6 are for lap swimming.
