Schoolcraft College’s Learning Support Services, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and Scholars Honors Program invite enrolled Schoolcraft students to participate in the inaugural STEAMzSchoolcraft Student-Led Conference.
This year’s theme for our two-day virtual summit, STEAMzSchoolcraft: Bridging the Arts, Humanities, and Sciences, investigates how these disciplines effectively build on one another in real-world settings to support our students’ academic and professional goals.
Proposals submitted came from participants with diverse backgrounds and interests who creatively addressed the theme with an original presentation, activity, or poster presentation. The presentations focus on ideas, findings, and experiences highlighting academic and professional successes. Presenters address specific values, skills, and experiences needed to set and achieve thoughtful and actionable goals as they transition into university life or the workforce.
Proposal submission deadline was Friday, February, 7, 2020. Proposal submissions for participation in STEAMz, 2020-2021 will open Monday, October 12, 2020.
