The last day to submit the 2024-25 FAFSA is 6/30/2025 as per the Department of Education.
2024-25 FAFSA Updates
Based on the most recent information from the Department of Education, Schoolcraft anticipates that we will start processing FAFSAs and awarding students in April.
Futures for Frontliners & Michigan Reconnect Leave of Absence
As of August 17, 2023, all Futures for Frontliners and Michigan Reconnect Leave of Absence forms must be received and processed before your leave of absence begins. Failure to submit the form to us before beginning a leave of absence will result in your status in the program being changed to Not Continuously Enrolled and you will no longer be eligible for the program.
Apply for the 2023-24 FAFSA
The deadline to submit your 2023-24 FAFSA is 6/30/2024.
The 2024-25 FAFSA application is open. Awarding for the 2024-25 school year, which begins with the Fall 2024 semester, will begin in mid to late May, 2024.
General Application for Scholarships Open for 2023/2024
The Schoolcraft College Foundation is now accepting applications for scholarships for 2023/2024. Update your general application profile online.

Important Update: As of July 13th, 2021 per the Department of Education, students selected for Verification Group 1 (V1) are no longer required to submit the requested documentation for this process. The Department of Education is focusing this award year’s effort strictly on identity and fraud. Students selected for Verification Groups V4 & V5 are still required to submit the requested documentation. Any documents submitted for this process will not be retained by the Office of Financial Aid.
2023-2024 FAFSA Available October 1, 2022
You can file the 2023-24 FAFSA October 1, 2022- June 30, 2024. Schoolcraft will start processing and awarding 2023-24 FAFSA’s beginning in early March 2023.
