Important Updates

  • Students submitting a SAP appeal will complete an academic evaluation using the “Check Progress Toward My Degree” tool within WebAdvisor. Students can still consult with Academic Advising for questions and planning.

  • As of January 9th per the Department of Education, students and parents may now submit a signed copy of the 2018 income tax return, if needed, to verify tax return information. Families can still submit IRS Tax Return Transcripts or use the IRS Data Retrieval tool on FAFSA.

Non-tax filers - Independent students, and parents of dependent students who did not file and are not required to file a 2018 tax return are still required to obtain verification of non-filing from the IRS or other tax authorities. If you have not been able to get the IRS Verification of Non-filing Letter, you may indicate this on the Schoolcraft Non-Filing Statement.
