Your Campus
Don’t be fooled by Schoolcraft College’s commuter-friendly campus, with its ample free parking. There is campus life at Schoolcraft for those who wish to make that part of their collegiate experience.
Get involved in campus life
There are more than 20 student clubs and a student-run newspaper to join. Or you can work as a tutor at the Learning Assistance Center helping other students or become a student ambassador, leading campus tours and volunteering at campus events.
Be a spectator or a participant
Women and men compete in intercollegiate athletics; several teams are nationally ranked. Try singing in the Choral Union or playing in the Wind Ensemble or Jazz band, and be sure to attend the free monthly noon concerts. Feeling dramatic? Audition for the twice-yearly Theatre Department productions.
Connect with your fellow students
Make Henry’s Food Court and its big-screen TV and Internet access your home-away-from class headquarters for meeting friends and eating really good food. Or be a part of all-campus events such as the Multicultural Fair, or join the Student Activities Board.
Service and learning go hand-in-hand
The concept is called “service learning” and it means just what it says: Students learn while they serve others. Be sure to ask your advisor or counselor about opportunities to incorporate community service into your collegiate experience.
