Send Silence Packing

Schoolcraft College is proud to partner with Active Minds, the nation’s leading nonprofit working to change the culture around mental health, to bring Send Silence Packing to campus.

For more than a decade, this acclaimed exhibit has traveled the country to end the silence around mental health and suicide and to connect visitors with resources. Now it is evolving from an awareness exhibit into an action-driven experience. This all-day, guided advocacy experience uses storytelling, reflection, digital engagement, and interactive action stations to help students:

• Support their peers.
• Become advocates for policy change.
• Start or join a local mental health community.
• Share their stories.
• Learn how to have mental health conversations.

We hope this event fosters open conversation, reduces stigma, and connects students to critical resources, so that no one struggles in silence.
