Kongruent’s Dr. Kenneth Gill is a gifted trombonist, composer, educator, clinician, and advocate for the arts. Born and raised in Detroit, Gill earned a Bachelor of Music in Education from Howard University, a Master of Music from Kent State University, and a Doctor of Musical Arts in Jazz and Contemporary Improvisation from the University of Michigan. As an in-demand trombonist, he has recorded and performed with a variety of artists and ensembles. In 2019, he released an LP titled The Good News.
