Experience a crime thriller firsthand and be part of the action! The IRS needs agents with all types of backgrounds to fight crime. Join us for this event to experience the day-in-the-life of an IRS-Criminal Investigation Special Agent. Students get to take the role of a special agent and work a simulated case from the initial lead, all the way through to the arrest. Students will review financial documents, participate in various investigative techniques, and learn use-of-force skills. Students who are considering careers in accounting, forensic accounting, cybercrime, criminal justice, or federal law enforcement would find value in participating in the citizen academy.
