Data Source: Research and Analytics Query/Calculation (based on federal fall enrollment work-file)

Notes about methodology: In the absence of a definition or approach provided by the ACF, Research and Analytics opted to use the IPEDS Graduation Rate methodology as it is a federal standard for all colleges. As such, these numbers only include first-time, full-time students who started in the fall semester with a culinary/pre-culinary associate degree program code. IPEDS federal government requires graduation rates to be calculated based on students completing a program within 150% of normal program time – which is 3 years for a 2-year associate degree.

It is important to understand that these percentages do not reflect part-time students, students who previously completed college credits (non-first time) or students who started their education at Schoolcraft as a first-time student in the winter term instead of the fall. Furthermore, keep in mind that some students who began in the culinary associate degree program went on to successfully complete a Schoolcraft credential in another program area (business, liberal arts, etc.).
