FAFSA Information for Parents
Submitting the FAFSA does not involve a credit check or putting parents and other contributors in debt. At Schoolcraft, the only loans we certify are Federal Direct Student Loans (which are solely in the student’s name). Parents are generally required to enter information on their student’s FAFSA, until the year the student turns 24. There are exceptions to this in some specific scenarios. For more information on determining if parent information is required for you, and who to consider as a parent – please visit studentaid.gov.
