Courses in Academic Program (TIV eligible courses)
Many types of financial aid will only pay towards classes that are requirements in your declared academic program. These credit hours are considered Title IV (TIV) eligible. Courses that are not required for your declared academic program, even if they are recommended or required for transfer programs, are not considered TIV eligible and are not counted towards financial aid for many types of awards.
To see if courses you are currently enrolled in are considered TIV eligible, you can login to Ocelot Access, click on the Financial Aid card, click on “Enrolled Credits”.
To see your current academic program, and the courses it requires, go to Check Progress Towards My Degree. This can be found in Ocelot Access by clicking on the Academic Advising card, clicking on “Check Progress Towards My Degree,” and then selecting your active program(s).
