Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) Can-Am has decided to discontinue its partnership with Schoolcraft College to offer 3-Wheel Basic RiderCourses. We plan to revisit our partnership in 2021. Be safe and stay well!

  • Class registration is handled entirely by BRP Can-Am.
  • Students must provide their own safety gear and supplies; please reference our Riding-Gear and -Item Requirements.
  • You must be available and on time for each scheduled session or you may be denied admission.

3-Wheel Basic RiderCourse (3WBRC) | Can-Am Spyder, Ryker Riders |

This course is designed for someone who has little or no experience operating a three-wheel motorcycle, and it focuses on the development of basic riding skills: clutch and throttle coordination, straight-line riding, braking, turning, and shifting. Can-Am training motorcycles are provided. Privately owned motorcycles are NOT permitted. Sharing may be required. There are approximately 18 hours of instruction – 8 hours of classroom instruction, 8-10 hours of hands-on instruction, and 2 hours of evaluation and testing.
