Continuing Education and Professional Development

To help safeguard the health and safety of our students, Schoolcraft College has decided to cancel most non-credit face-to-face classes for the duration of the summer, June - August. Only select face-to-face Motorcycle Safety and Firearm Training classes are scheduled to take place at this time.

Online and virtual classes are still being offered. In addition, Kids on Campus will be holding virtual summer camps which you can learn about at schoolcraft.edu/koc

We are currently putting guidelines in place in our sincere hope that most face-to-face classes will resume this fall. We will continuously monitor the COVID-19 situation to make sure our actions align with CDC and Government guidelines. As updates occur, information will be shared here on our homepage

Enriching Minds. Transforming Lives.

Are you looking for a way to expand your horizons, learn new skills, or develop in your chosen career? Schoolcraft College offers a wide variety of non-credit classes and programs designed to meet the needs of our students, the community and area businesses. If you are ready to expand your knowledge and opportunities, we can help.

Meet CEPD Instructor Sandra Adams

July 12, 2017

Meet CEPD Instructor Sandy AdamsSandra Adams, CFP® has worked in the financial planning industry for over 20 years and obtained her Certified Financial Planner™ designation in 2003. She loves to help individuals and families create customized and actionable financial plans that can be implemented easily by breaking them into simple steps. Sandy has a particular passion for working with older adults, so she went back to school to obtain her master’s certificate in Gerontology from Eastern Michigan University in order to specialize in elder care planning. This allows her to work with entire generations of families: older adults, their children and grandchildren. Sandy is also trained to work with individuals going through any kind of stressful life and/or money transitions, including death of a spouse, divorce, loss or change of job, change of career, sale of a business, generational wealth transfers, etc.

Outside of work, Sandy loves sporting events and staying physically active, traveling, spending time with her family, and continuous learning.  She is excited to share her knowledge and experience. This term Sandy will be teaching two new classes, Serving as a Financial Fiduciary and Long Life Planning.
