Meet the SRT Faculty
With decades of teaching and industry experience Todd Sager has literally “been there, done that” in every audio related endeavor. Our faculty can help you realize your goals and assist you in forging a path to success.
Todd Sager has spent his entire career on “both sides of the glass”, meaning being both a musician and recording engineer since the early 80s. He holds both a Bachelor and Masters degree in performance from the University of Michigan and has taught music and recording related courses for over thirty years. Todd’s latest professional album releases have been on the Naxos Recording classical label.
Make Life-Changing Sound Connections
Schoolcraft students make excellent and sometimes life-changing connections with other students and professionals while in the Sound Recording Technology program. Students form bands together, start businesses, collaborate on projects and meet current professionals in the business.
Students are also encouraged to join the Audio Engineering Society (www.aes.org) and take part in the SRT Club.
The SRT Club is a student run, faculty-facilitated club created last winter semester by SRT students. The students decide content and topics they would like to explore, such as guest speakers, studio tours, special audio topics and more.
