Sandra Adams, CFP® has worked in the financial planning industry for over 20 years and obtained her Certified Financial Planner™ designation in 2003. She loves to help individuals and families create customized and actionable financial plans that can be implemented easily by breaking them into simple steps. Sandy has a particular passion for working with older adults, so she went back to school to obtain her master’s certificate in Gerontology from Eastern Michigan University in order to specialize in elder care planning. This allows her to work with entire generations of families: older adults, their children and grandchildren. Sandy is also trained to work with individuals going through any kind of stressful life and/or money transitions, including death of a spouse, divorce, loss or change of job, change of career, sale of a business, generational wealth transfers, etc.
Outside of work, Sandy loves sporting events and staying physically active, traveling, spending time with her family, and continuous learning. She is excited to share her knowledge and experience. This term Sandy will be teaching two new classes, Serving as a Financial Fiduciary and Long Life Planning.
