Leadership Team

Dr Rober Leadley

Dr. Robert Leadley

Dr. Robert Leadley is the Chief Workforce & Economic Development Officer. He has served at Schoolcraft College in several leadership roles including Associate Dean of Science and Dean of Occupational Programs and Economic Development. In addition, Dr. Leadley is currently teaching Business courses and has taught courses in Biology and Physical Education.

Before Schoolcraft, Leadley led research and development efforts at international pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. He has over 150 scientific publications and is a co-inventor on two patents. He also consults for biotech companies and reviews SBIR/STTR grant applications for the National Institutes of Health. Leadley holds a BS in Medical Technology (Michigan State University), an MS in Biomedical Engineering (University of Wisconsin), a Ph.D. in Physiology (University of Kansas), and an MBA (St. Joseph’s University Haub School of Business).


Amy Jones

Amy Jones is the Senior Director of Workforce Development at Schoolcraft College, responsible for creating talent pipelines and managing industry sector partnerships, while supporting and strengthening relationships with training providers, economic development entities and employers.

Prior to her current role, Amy served as an academic and administrative leader for 10+ years, focusing on building and growing partnerships among faculty, staff, administration and the community in the areas of Engineering & Technology, overseeing the following programs: Biomedical Engineering Technology, Computer Aided Design, Electronics Technology, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Metallurgy/Materials Science, Plastic Technology, Robotics and Welding.

Amy has over 30 years of postsecondary and workforce development experience. She holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Business from Schoolcraft College, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Walsh College, and a Master in Business Administration from Wayne State University.


Olga Martinez

Olga Martinez

Olga Martinez is the program administrator for the Schoolcraft APEX Accelerator – a partially funded Department of Defense program designed to strengthen the defense industrial base by accelerating innovation, fostering ingenuity, and establishing resilient and diverse supply chains.

In this role, Olga leads a high-performing team in executing the APEX program strategy, providing area businesses and tech startups with education, training, and technical assistance to navigate federal, state, and local acquisition systems—ultimately helping businesses to supply Defense and other government agencies with solutions that address critical procurement priorities. Olga also serves as a defense sector liaison for our Workforce & Economic Development Department, identifying federal and defense-related opportunities and emerging workforce needs that align with the College’s capabilities and strengths.

Prior to joining Schoolcraft College, Olga served in the educational services industry for over 15 years gaining experience in grant management, strategic partnerships, and program development. She earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Baylor University and a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from Michigan State University.

Olga serves on the National APEX Accelerator Alliance board of directors, where she helps drive regional connections, national partnerships, and collaborative events with government agencies. She is also a member of the Michigan Alliance of APEX Accelerators and the National Defense Industrial Association (Michigan Chapter), and actively supports initiatives led by the Michigan Office of Defense & Aerospace Innovation and Michigan Economic Development Corporation. Her professional affiliations include the National Contract Management Association and the Institute for Public Procurement.


Raymond Tate

Raymond Tate

Raymond Tate serves as Program Manager for the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Schoolcraft College. With more than 20 years of experience in business and economic development, sales, and marketing, he has worked across education, government, nonprofits, and the private sector. Throughout his career, Raymond has partnered with the small business community to deliver consulting services, tailored solutions, and training programs that address the evolving needs of entrepreneurs.

At Schoolcraft College, Raymond leads the SBDC satellite office, guiding a team of advisors and trainers while driving strategic development initiatives. He manages consulting and training services, oversees program operations, and ensures alignment with regional economic priorities. His leadership emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and measurable impact — helping businesses launch, grow, and thrive.

Raymond’s work reflects a deep commitment to strengthening communities through entrepreneurship and workforce development. By bridging strategy with activation, he continues to expand access to resources that empower small businesses and support sustainable economic growth.
