Connecting with Android

Downloading the Installer

Open the Play Store from your Android device’s list of applications. Select the search box and enter horizon client, selecting the left-most application (Figure 1).

Select the Install option on the application’s store page (Figure 2).

Completing the Installation

Once the installation has completed, select the Open option for the client (Figure 3).

You will be prompted to allow the Horizon Client to make and manage phone calls (Figure 4) and to access files and folders (Figure 5) on your device. Select the Allow option for both windows.

Once the VMware Horizon Client application is open, a prompt requesting connection info will appear. Enter horizon.schoolcraft.edu and leave Server Description (optional) blank (Figure 6).

You can now use your Schoolcraft-provided credentials to sign into and receive a Schoolcraft desktop.
