Hot Spot Loan Resources

Through the generosity of the Schoolcraft Foundation, the Hinkle Student Resource Center can assist students with technology needs through our Hot Spot Loan program. The program provides support to our currently enrolled students who demonstrate financial need and have no wifi access to complete their courses successfully.

To qualify for the program, students must meet the following requirements:

  • Be registered for classes during the semester in which the equipment is requested
  • Be in good financial standing with the college (have a zero balance on their account or be enrolled in a payment plan)
  • Be in good academic standing with the college (have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher)
    • Note: Effective February 2023, students with a cumulative GPA lower than 2.0 may be given provisional consideration for one semester. A 2.0 or higher cumulative GPA would need to be achieved for the semester during which the equipment was issued. 

Interested students need to complete the Hot Spot Loan Application.
