How to Donate
The Campus Cupboard relies on donations to run. All donations are used to directly serve our students. Please consider making a personal donation of food or funds. We accept any unopened, non-perishable food items (note: we do not accept expired food items).
You can donate to the pantry in a variety of ways:
Bring in a physical donation.
Donation bins are located across campus for your convenience. They can be found in the Jeffress Center, the Physical Education Building, McDowell Student Center, and Lower Waterman Wing (Student Activities). They are accessible whenever the buildings are open – just leave your items in the bin and secure the lid. You can also bring donations directly to the Hinkle Resource Center (MC175) between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or to the pantry when we are open. If you’d like to coordinate a special pick up or drop off, contact us directly at [email protected].
To ensure items do not go to waste, please aim to donate items that are at least 3-6 months out from the expiration date listed. If you’d like suggestions on what to donate, check out our Suggested Donations list below.
Make a monetary gift to the pantry through the Schoolcraft College Foundation.
Make a one-time gift or choose recurring gifts through a payroll deduction. Funds are used to directly purchase highly requested food items for the pantry.

However you choose to donate, thank you. The Campus Cupboard couldn’t do what we do if it wasn’t for your support.
