Meet Our Professional Staff

Patty Donohue-Ebach
Director of Recreation Services
Patty has worked in the fitness, health and wellness industry for over 30 years. She has a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Master of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Michigan. She also has a Master of Science certificate in Complementary Medicine and Wellness from Oakland University.
Patty joined Schoolcraft College as an adjunct faculty member in the College’s Physical Education department in 2005 before transitioning to managing the fitness center, which opened in 2012. Patty and the recreation staff have since taken on the additional responsibility of operational oversight for the Trinity Health Sports Dome and TrinityElite Sports Center.
Prior to her coming to Schoolcraft College, Patty worked in the health and fitness industry managing corporate fitness centers and wellness programs in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors.

Matt Cooper
Recreation Facilities Manager
Matt has over 15 years of experience in fitness center management and operations. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a Specialization in Health Promotion from Michigan State University. He has been a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) since 2005 and is a Weight Management Specialist, also through the American Council on Exercise.
Matt joined the Schoolcraft College Fitness Center team as an Assistant Recreation Manager in 2016. He currently manages the daily operations of the Fitness Center, Trinity Health Sports Dome, and TrinityElite Sports Center.
Prior to joining the Schoolcraft College Fitness Center, he worked as a Facility Operations Manager and Assistant Fitness Director for the JCC of Metro Detroit, and has been an in-home Personal Trainer.

Walt Stecko
Business Office Manager
Walt has more than 30 years of financial management experience in retail, telecommunications and information technology. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Detroit Mercy and a Master of Science in Finance from Walsh College.
Walt has been with the Fitness Center since it opened in 2012. He plays a key role in ensuring smooth operations of member management software, handles membership billing processes, and serves as the initial contact for existing and prospective rental groups for the Trinity Health Sports Dome and TrinityElite Sports Center.
After initially retiring from AT&T, Walt had been self-employed and served as a consultant to various companies and non-profit organizations.

Cassy Korasiak
Movement Science Lab Coordinator
Cassy holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science and a Master of Arts in Sports Administration from Wayne State University. She is a Certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and has been a Certified Group Fitness Instructor through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) since 2021. She has also taught fitness and wellness courses through Schoolcraft College’s Personal and Professional Learning department.
Cassy has been part of Schoolcraft Recreation Services since 2018, taking on a variety of roles and responsibilities throughout her time with the department. She currently oversees athletic and exercise testing in the Movement Science Lab, working with student athletes and community members to assess fitness, evaluate performance, and help individuals develop strategies to reach their goals using a data-driven approach. She also plays an integral role in technology development, programming, marketing, and operations within the Fitness Center.
Outside of her work at Schoolcraft, Cassy is passionate about functional fitness and hybrid athlete training. A CrossFit enthusiast and dedicated HYROX competitor, she combines strength training and weightlifting with aerobic conditioning to build both performance and endurance. She also enjoys running and competing in half-marathon races. Her own experience as an athlete continues to shape her approach to helping others build strength, improve performance, and develop sustainable, lifelong fitness habits.
