Sharon Christian, MBA
Director of Workforce Mentorship and Placement
Sharon oversees the Career Mentorship and Placement office at Schoolcraft College, which includes campus-wide career readiness programming for prospective and current students, alumni, and community members, and collaborations with local and regional employers to help facilitate career preparedness and job placement. Sharon is a faculty for business courses, teaches non-credit career readiness courses, and serves as the business club co-advisor at the college.
Jessica Miller, MA
Career Success Navigator
Jessica works with current students, alumni and the public with reviewing resumes, cover letters, job search strategies, networking, and interview preparation. Jessica also coordinates the drop-in career support where student mentors assist current students and recent alumni with revising resumes and cover letters, assist with LinkedIn tips, and provide guidance on interview preparation.
Deanna Abrash, MBA
Job Board Specialist
Deanna works with local and regional employers to access the college’s job board and job posting platform and provides customer service for the office. She has professional experience working in the entertainment industry as a composer and data scientist, and editing experience for a variety of health, entertainment, and culinary publications. She came to Schoolcraft in 2023 to pursue studies in pharmacy and medicinal chemistry.
