From my perspective, a college campus is one of the most vibrant, joyful places on earth, and being able to observe the personal and professional growth gained by our students is truly an honor.  I began my own college education at a community college, and can fully appreciate the advantages: I was well-prepared to go on to complete both a bachelor’s and master’s degree, free from the overwhelming student debt experienced by so many of my peers. It is truly my pleasure to introduce you to Schoolcraft; I can’t wait to help you get started!”

I’m proud to represent Schoolcraft College and the Admissions Department. I received my associate degree in business from a community college and later completed my bachelor’s degree at Davenport University, which gives me a strong appreciation for the opportunities that community colleges provide. I believe deeply in the mission of community colleges and the life-changing experiences they offer to students from all backgrounds.  I’m excited to share the wide range of programs, resources, and opportunities available, while helping students feel supported and confident as they take their next steps. It is a privilege to be part of such a welcoming community and to witness the success and achievements of our students.

The beginning of my college journey was through dual enrollment at Schoolcraft College. This experience gave me the head start I needed in my higher education. I later transferred to Central Michigan University where I obtained my Bachelor of Science and recently went further to complete my Master of Arts at Moody Bible Institute.  I chose to return to Schoolcraft as an employee so that I could provide students with the same help I received. Schoolcraft College is a wonderful place to get a head start; whether you are looking to get a certificate to go straight into the workplace, learn a new skill, obtain your associate’s degree, or take transferrable classes that are cost friendly. No matter what you choose to dream and do, the Schoolcraft faculty, staff, and I, are here to help you along the way.

I am proud to be a part of the Schoolcraft College Admissions and Welcome Center. I obtained my Bachelor of Science Degree from Madonna University and both my Teacher Certification and Master of Arts Degrees from Eastern Michigan University. I have spent the past 15 years as a high school teacher, so I am familiar with the numerous opportunities that high school students have today in getting a head start on their post-secondary goals. I look forward to welcoming high school students to Schoolcraft College through our Dual Enrollment and SC Edge Middle College programs. I hope to be a resource in making the transition into your post-secondary education and career.

I am super proud to be a member of the Schoolcraft College Admissions Team and Welcome Center! Schoolcraft has so much to offer to help students get started with a career and work toward their professional goals. I obtained my Bachelor of Science Degree from Indiana University and a Master of Science Degree from Ohio State University. My professional experience includes practicing as a Certified Athletic Trainer, faculty member at Butler University, and teaching at the elementary and preschool Levels. I am thrilled to be a part of the educational process and can’t wait to help students along their own academic and professional journey!

I studied social work at Eastern Michigan University and earned my bachelor’s degree in 2020. I have found that working in a community college setting coalesces nicely with the values I learned in that program. Community colleges like Schoolcraft College provide invaluable resources to students and empowers individuals to transform their lives. I take great pride in helping students find their educational path. Whether they are current high school students, recent graduates, or an older student looking to make a change. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from Michigan State University, and my professional background includes elementary-level admissions testing and marketing within higher education. For over 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of welcoming students to Schoolcraft College. Every day, I greet students who may arrive feeling unsure or overwhelmed, and I help them leave with clarity and confidence about their next steps. As a bilingual staff member fluent in English and Arabic, I take pride in supporting our diverse community and making every student feel at home. Schoolcraft isn’t just where I work, it truly feels like my second home.

I am excited to be a part of the Schoolcraft College Admissions Team. I hold a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication from Miami University and have a strong background in customer service from my experience at Ford Motor Company. As a Livonia resident for more than 20 years, I am honored to serve as Vice President of the Livonia Public School Board of Education, supporting students, families, and the community. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our four children, whose energy and experience have prepared me well for supporting students and families at Schoolcraft College.
