Hartman Theatre proudly present our 2026-2027 Season with a bit of British nostalgia in two well-established plays from the 20<sup>th<\/sup> century: THE REAL INSPECTOR HOUND by Tom Stoppard, and Beer<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tom Stoppard\u2019s THE REAL INSPECTOR HOUND is a hilarious parody of traditional whodunit murder mysteries with a crime within a crime and a twist within a twist.\u00a0 Stoppard was a hugely popular playwright and filmmaker with an Academy Award, three Laurence Olivier Awards, and five Tony Awards to his credit.\u00a0 Some of his best-known works include ROSENCRANTZ AND GUILDENSTERN ARE DEAD and SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Performance dates:<\/strong> November 6 &amp; 7 at 7:30 pm and November class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Directed by Michael Alan Herman<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No\u00ebl Coward called his own BLITHE SPIRIT \u201can improbable farce in three acts.\u201d\u00a0 Like many of his plays it skewers British high-brow society while giving the rest of us great laughs \u2013 this time featuring a car crash, a s\u00e9ance, and a pair of ghosts.\u00a0 In his long theatrical career, Coward was a playwright, composer, actor, and director, with over 35 plays, over a dozen musicals and revues, and twenty films (including film adaptations of his plays) to his credit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Performance dates:\u00a0 <\/strong>April 9 &amp; 10, 2027, at 7:30 pm and April 10 at 2 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
