CLEP is a national College Board credit by exam program available to Schoolcraft College students and members of the community. Students may choose from 35 CLEP exams offered monthly on selected dates. The CLEP computer-based test is a 90-minute timed multiple-choice exam. The CLEP Sampler can help students prepare to take the computer test and is available online at&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.collegeboard.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">collegeboard.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By passing a CLEP exam, you can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201cTest out\u201d of a first or second year college course<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Get college credit for what you already know<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Save time while earning a degree<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Save tuition dollars<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone can take a CLEP exam. Individual colleges set their own CLEP policies and guidelines. It is the test candidate\u2019s responsibility to consult with the institution that will be receiving the test scores to ensure that the proper tests are taken.&nbsp; Candidates must have a valid government issued ID with their first and last name on it (no picture or copy of ID is acceptable).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Test Registration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To register for the CLEP exam, please complete the Registration and Payment Form below.
