Service Learning and Civic Engagement connect academic courses to the wider community through mutually beneficial projects with organization off and on campus. The goal is to help meet real-world needs while fostering in students a sense of civic responsibility and a greater awareness of their community. Students\u2019 skills and personal growth are demonstrated in high impact learning experiences, academic outcomes, and guided reflection, preparing students to meet the challenges of being 21st Century citizens.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
