Some stipulations apply so work with your SC academic advisor to select the right courses.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What courses are required for the MTA?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>English Composition\/Communication:&nbsp; 2 courses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Humanities: 2 courses from different humanities areas&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Social Sciences:&nbsp; &nbsp;2 courses from different social science areas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Natural Sciences:&nbsp; 2 courses&nbsp; from different science areas (one must include a lab)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mathematics:&nbsp; 1 course from the MTA list<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>30 or more total credits from these courses with grades of 2.0 or higher&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A student must successfully complete at least one credit-bearing, college-level course (does not have to be an MTA course) at the sending institution to have \u201cMTA Satisfied\u201d endorsed on their transcript.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After your courses are complete and the final grades are visible, students can request the MTA endorsement by emailing&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:screcord@schoolcraft.edu\">screcord@schoolcraft.edu<\/a>.
