Please visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolcraft.edu\/testing-center\/\">Testing Center website<\/a> for information and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolcraft.edu\/testing-center\/#contact-info-row\">office hours<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you do not already have a student ID number, get one at the&nbsp;<strong>Registration Office <\/strong>in the McDowell Student Center. For hours, contact 734-462-4426.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once testing has been completed, take your paperwork to the&nbsp;<strong>Registration Center<\/strong>&nbsp;to enroll in and pay for ESL classes in-person<strong><em>. No online registration is available.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-genesis-blocks-gb-accordion gb-block-accordion\"><details><summary class=\"gb-accordion-title\">Do I really need to take the prerequisite if I think my skills are sufficient?<\/summary><div class=\"gb-accordion-text\">\n<p>Yes, you must have the prerequisites listed for the ESL class, or an appropriate ESL Placement Test Score for the class.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-genesis-blocks-gb-accordion gb-block-accordion\"><details><summary class=\"gb-accordion-title\">Can I register for a class after it has started?<\/summary><div class=\"gb-accordion-text\">\n<p>In order to maintain instruction of the highest quality, and to be fair to all students who registered prior to the first class session, we are not able to allow registration into any class past the second class session. Also, for any late registration, we are not able to pro-rate the class cost and our regular refund policy will still be in effect.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-genesis-blocks-gb-accordion gb-block-accordion\"><details><summary class=\"gb-accordion-title\">Is there Financial Aid for Personal &amp; Professional Learning (PPL) non-credit classes?<\/summary><div class=\"gb-accordion-text\">\n<p>No, Schoolcraft College does not offer Financial Aid for Personal &amp; Professional Learning (non-credit) classes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-genesis-blocks-gb-accordion gb-block-accordion\"><details><summary class=\"gb-accordion-title\">Do I need to purchase a book for my class?<\/summary><div class=\"gb-accordion-text\">\n<p>If you see the textbook symbol at the end of the class description, you will need a textbook. If a class has an optional textbook, it will be stated within the class description. Textbooks are available for purchase in the Bookstore. For more information, call (734) 462-4409 or&nbsp;visit the Bookstore\u2019s website&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.schoolcraftbooks.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">www.schoolcraftbooks.com<\/a>. You must present a copy of your current schedule to purchase books.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-genesis-blocks-gb-accordion gb-block-accordion\"><details><summary class=\"gb-accordion-title\">Can I attend another class as a make-up if I miss my regular class?<\/summary><div class=\"gb-accordion-text\">\n<p>No. You may only attend a class for which you are registered.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-genesis-blocks-gb-accordion gb-block-accordion\"><details><summary class=\"gb-accordion-title\">What are CEUs?<\/summary><div class=\"gb-accordion-text\">\n<p>CEUs are Continuing Education Units. They are different from traditional college credits in that they do not count towards a college degree. Some organizations require that their employees obtain a certain number of CEUs to maintain a professional license and\/or to qualify for financial reimbursement. One (1) CEU represents ten (10) class hours of instruction. For example, a class that meets for a total of 24 hours offers 2.4 CEUs.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-genesis-blocks-gb-accordion gb-block-accordion\"><details><summary class=\"gb-accordion-title\">Will I receive a certificate and\/or transcript at the end of my class?<\/summary><div class=\"gb-accordion-text\">\n<p>You will receive a Student Participation Letter from PPL by email at the end of the course. This letter will list the course name, section number, dates, your numeric grade, and the CEUs \u00a0for the course. You will\u00a0not receive a certificate stating that you have completed a class. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For proof of class completion, please\u00a0sign in to <a href=\"https:\/\/my.schoolcraft.edu\/\">Ocelot Access<\/a> to view or print your\u00a0<em>unofficial<\/em>\u00a0transcript.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To request an\u00a0<em>official<\/em>\u00a0copy of your transcript to send to potential employers or other educational institutions, please click on \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolcraft.edu\/records\/forms\/\">Forms \u2013 Student Records \u2013 Schoolcraft College.<\/a> You will be redirected to the Transcript page of Schoolcraft College\u2019s website.
