Pageturners Book Club

Welcome to the Pageturners Book Club! It is open to all students, faculty, staff, administrators and community friends. The books are available for purchase at the Schoolcraft College Bookstores. Discussion sessions are facilitated by Schoolcraft students.

All Pageturners events are free and open to the public. Due to the COVID pandemic, the book club will be held virtually during the Fall semester through Blackboard Collaborate. Please come and join us!

The Nickel Boys

The Nickel Boys is a 2019 Pulitzer Prize winning novel by American novelist Colson Whitehead. It is based on the real story of the Dozier School, a reform school that operated in Florida for 111 years and had its history exposed by a university's investigation. It was named one of Time's best books of the decade.
