Library Events

Anime Nights

Bradner Library will be holding Anime Nights throughout the Fall semester on Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in Room L110.  Meet fellow fans, watch anime, and have fun! You choose what anime we watch!

Once a month, one participant will receive a free 48-hour Guest Pass to Crunchyroll anime streaming service! We are able to provide this service thanks to Crunchyroll.com, which has an outreach program for libraries that allows us to stream anime for free.

Graphic Novel Showdown

Join us at Bradner Library as we kick-off this year’s Graphic Novel Showdown! This semester-long event provides students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to help us choose which series we will collect during the year. We will be pitting graphic novels and manga against each other in one vs. one showdowns to see which series will reign supreme. The winners of each round will move on to the next round (and having an additional volume or related graphic novel collected). This will continue for three rounds until the top contenders are crowned at the end of the year.

If you want to have your voice heard in regards to which graphic novel and manga series we collect this year, then come over to Bradner Library, fill out your bracket, and make sure the stories you like to read make the cut!

If you have any questions or comments, send them to Joseph Miller (jmiller@schoolcraft.edu).
