Address Forwarding<\/h1>\n\n\n

If you want to have email that is sent to your Schoolcraft email account forwarded to a non-Schoolcraft email account (e.g., Hotmail, Comcast, Yahoo, etc.), follow the steps below:<\/p>\n\n\n

  1. Sign in to your Schoolcraft email account<\/a>.<\/li>
  2. Click on the email <\/strong>section.<\/li>
  3. From the Mail<\/strong> section of your account, click on the Gear<\/strong> icon at the top of the page (immediately under the account name).<\/li>
  4. Select Settings<\/strong> then open the Forwarding and POP\/IMAP<\/strong> tab.<\/li>
  5. Click on the Add a forwarding address <\/strong>button and follow the directions.<\/li>
  6. You will be sent a confirmation email to the forwarding address. Follow the instructions in that email.<\/li>
  7. Refresh your web browser screen.<\/li>
  8. Return to your Schoolcraft email account and in the Forwarding and POP\/IMAP<\/strong> tab you can now select to forward email to that address.<\/li>
  9. Select the action you’d like your messages to take from the drop-down menu. You can choose what you want done with the original version of the Schoolcraft email (keep, archive, delete).<\/li>
  10. Click Save Changes<\/strong>.<\/li>
  11. Send a test message to your Schoolcraft email address (firstname.lastname@apps.schoolcraft.edu) and verify that it shows up in the email account to which your messages are forwarded.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n
