Downloading the Installer<\/h2>\n\n\n

Open an internet browser and enter horizon.schoolcraft.edu<\/a><\/strong> into the address box at the top of the browser window. Select the option that says Install VMware Horizon Client<\/strong> (Figure 1)<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n

In the proceeding page, select the Go to Downloads<\/strong> button for the Windows installation of the client (Figure 2)<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n

Select the Download <\/strong>button on the page that follows (Figure 3)<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n

Upon download completion, run the executable. Depending on the Internet browser used, this process will vary.<\/p>\n\n\n

Downloading from Google Chrome<\/h3>\n\n\n

Click on the text within the box in the bottom-left that says VMware-Horizon-\u2026.exe<\/strong> (Figure 4)<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n

Downloading from Microsoft Edge<\/h3>\n\n\n

Click on the Run <\/strong>option that appears at the bottom-center of the screen (Figure 5)<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n

Downloading from Internet Explorer<\/h3>\n\n\n

Downloading from Mozilla Firefox<\/h3>\n\n\n

In the center of the screen in the window that appears, select the Save File<\/strong> option (Figure 7)<\/em>. From there, navigate to the downloads folder<\/strong> and double-click the downloaded file.<\/p>\n\n\n

Completing the Installation<\/h2>\n\n\n

In the window that appears after running the installation, select the Agree & Install<\/strong> option (Figure 8)<\/em>. Once the installation finishes, select the option that says Finish <\/strong>and restart your device if prompted (Figure 9)<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n

Following a reboot, sign-in to Windows and launch the newly placed Horizon Client shortcut on your desktop (Figure 10)<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n

In the application window that launches, double-click the Add Server<\/strong> option, and enter horizon.schoolcraft.edu<\/strong> when prompted, selecting Connect <\/strong>when done (Figure 11).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

You can now use your Schoolcraft-provided credentials to sign into and receive a Schoolcraft desktop.<\/p>\n\n\n
