Kristin Fruth is an Associate Professor in the Biology department at Schoolcraft College. She earned her master’s degree at the University of Toledo with an emphasis in cellular and molecular biology.
She teaches a variety of classes on campus including biology, nutrition, and microbiology. She is an avid animal lover and spent several years volunteering and working at the Toledo Zoo as a zoo educator. Prior to teaching, Kristin worked as a research scientist studying cancer biology and cardiovascular disease in both academia and the pharmaceutical industry. She maintains an active role on campus, enjoys mentoring students, and is involved in several campus-wide committees and organizations including the Schoolcraft College International Institute and Galileo Alumni Board.
