  • Receive information in an accessible format

Student Responsibilities

  • Submit documentation of the disability. For example, an IEP, 504 Plan and/or a diagnosis by a health care or mental health care professional. Documentation needs to be presented on official letterhead.
  • Meet with the Disability Support Services Advocate to set up accommodations.
  • Decide which accommodations will be needed and for what classes. Then, meet with those instructors, presenting your accommodation memo and discussing which accommodations will be needed.
  • Meet the standard for classroom behavior and academic requirements.
