Students can apply for Faculty Academic Scholarship through Oct. 26; $500 scholarships available from each academic department
Schoolcraft College students have the opportunity to apply for the college’s Faculty Academic Scholarships through Oct. 26 to potentially earn a $500 scholarship for Winter Term, 2019. Each academic department at the college will offer a $500 scholarship for academically excellent students that can be used to cover costs at Schoolcraft College for tuition, college fees, course and lab fees, books and supplies.
To qualify, students must have completed at least 12 credit hours at Schoolcraft College prior to the Fall Term, 2018, have a minimum cumulative Schoolcraft College grade point average of 3.0 and be registered for six or more credits for Winter 2019.
Each academic department will have a Faculty Review Team that evaluates the student’s applications and makes their candidate recommendations, and Schoolcraft College’s Office of Financial Aid reviews the recommendations to determine student eligibility for the scholarships.
Students interested in applying for the Faculty Academic Scholarships must follow these steps:
- Be a regularly admitted student at Schoolcraft College working toward a certificate of degree
- Complete the online scholarship application at https://www.schoolcraft.edu/scholarshipsearch
- Once logged in to the scholarship search site, students will submit the initial online scholarship application, and then click on the “Opportunities” option and type “Faculty” in the search option
- “Apply” to this fund by completing and submitting the additional questions
