The following guidelines should assist in writing your submission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Consider the CCE\u2019s readership:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>College faculty and administrators<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>General readers who are computer literate, but not tech experts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide a general description of the educational technology practice, theory, trend, philosophy, or software\/hardware you are evaluating, explaining its purpose, noting its intended practitioners, and identifying those who may benefit from its implementation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When reviewing instructional practices, theories, trends, or philosophies, examine the following:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Context: What is the basis of its emergence or popularity?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Purpose: What does it seek to improve?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Application: What does (or should) it look like in practice?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Evaluation: What were (or may be) the benefits and drawbacks to implementation?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When reviewing software or hardware, examine the following:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Context: What does the technology do (from a technical standpoint)? What are the minimum system requirements for implementation?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Purpose: What process or practice does the technology seek to improve?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Application: What results, positive or negative, did (or might) you encounter with the technology? Was there a learning curve?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Evaluation: How well has the technology performed to its specifications?
