Reviews should be fair, objective, accurate, and sensitive. The following guidelines should assist in writing the reviews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reviewed texts should generally have been published in the last year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide a general description of the contents of the book and include brief, relevant examples that illustrate the subject matter. Explain the book\u2019s purpose and note its intended audience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make a statement about the research quality of the publication, i.e., whether the book contains primary research and whether the references are relevant and up-to-date.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Evaluate the book:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>How well did the author carry out their intent?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How accurate is the book? Consider the source material and timeliness.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How well is the book written? Does the writing style help or hinder?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What are the author\u2019s qualifications?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do you, as the reviewer, recommend the work? Why or why not?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conclude with a summary statement of your assessment of the book in terms of quality, value, style, and the appropriate reader audience.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Book Review Format<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Provide a citation, title, name of author(s), city in which the publisher is located, name of publisher, year of publication, number of pages, and price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Double space all materials.
