Advance Michigan Catalyst Grant

Schoolcraft College is a partner in the Advance Michigan Catalyst Grant (AM-Catalyst) to train southeast Michigan workers in robotics and automation. This grant is funded by the U.S. Department of Labor to meet the needs of area employers to fill higher skill/higher wage positions. This four-year $6 million grant utilizes funding to train unemployed/under-employed workers along with non-traditional workers trained in robotics and automation to help companies meet their needs for skilled workers.

Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Operator Training

Monday, February 3,  2020 through Monday, March 23, 2020
Class Runs Monday-Thursday 8:00 am - 2:00 pm (1/2 hour lunch)
No Class March 2-5, 2020

The CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Operator runs a machine to create parts from raw materials, typically metal. The operator inputs instructions into the CNC machine so the machines can perform the correct function, such as drilling, milling or grinding.
