Tuition Incentive Program (TIP)<\/summary>
\n

The Tuition Incentive Program (TIP) is an incentive program that encourages eligible students to complete high school by providing tuition assistance for the first two years of college and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To meet the financial eligibility requirement a student must have (or have had) Medicaid coverage for 24 months with a 36 consecutive month period as identified by the Michigan Department of Human Services (DHS). Students must be registered in a minimum of six credits each semester and meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) in order to be eligible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Michigan Competitive Scholarship (MCS)<\/summary>
\n

The Michigan Competitive Scholarship program is available to an undergraduate student pursuing their first degrees at an approved Michigan Postsecondary institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Michigan Competitive Scholarship is no longer available to students who have graduated high school (or its equivalent) in 2023 or greater.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students must demonstrate both financial need and merit and eligible applicants must achieve a qualifying SAT score prior to entering college. Students must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements in order to be eligible. Students must have a 2.0 cumulative GPA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To have MCS awarded at Schoolcraft College: Complete the FAFSA by the State of Michigan deadline of March 1st. Students will be awarded based on the roster sent to the school by the State of Michigan.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Michigan Indian Tuition Waiver<\/summary>
\n

Michigan residents who are Native North Americans and are certified one-quarter blood quantum by their tribal association may be eligible for tuition assistance funds. The award is determined by the State of Michigan Department of Civil Rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Michigan Reconnect<\/summary>
\n

Michigan Reconnect is a scholarship program that pays for you to attend Schoolcraft college tuition-free. You can use the scholarship to complete an associate degree or a skill certificate program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Community College Guarantee<\/summary>
\n

If your the class of class of 2023 and beyond, you may be eligible for free or reduced tuition and fees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charles E. Schell Foundation Loan Program<\/summary>
\n

The Charles E. Schell Foundation is providing students with loans that will be awarded to qualified students to aid them in securing a practical education that, without this loan, probably would not be attainable. Repayment of this loan will ensure assistance for other students to continue their education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
