Students can complete a certificate or an associate degree to start a career, or earn college credits to transfer to a four-year college or university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pell-eligible students also qualify for up to $1,000 per year for other costs, including a refund for living expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>All recent high school graduates are eligible, regardless of family income.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolcraft.edu\/aid\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2026\/03\/2026-27-CCG-Payment-Postponement-Request-Form.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Community College Guarantee Payment Postponement Request\u00a0form<\/a> is for students who have had a completed 2025-26 FAFSA sent to Schoolcraft, and want to register for Fall 2025 classes, but have a future High School graduation date scheduled prior to August 25, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Graduate from a Michigan High School \u2013 earn a diploma, certificate of completion, or an equivalency certificate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Michigan resident since July 1 of the previous calendar year and you must remain a Michigan resident to remain eligible for this program. Be sure to check it frequently for important communications and to submit any requested documents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit your applicable year(s)<a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/h\/apply-for-aid\/fafsa\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/h\/apply-for-aid\/fafsa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)<\/a>. Be sure Schoolcraft is listed as your first school.
