Submit a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/h\/apply-for-aid\/fafsa\">FAFSA application<\/a>&nbsp;for financial aid, including submission of any additional documents that are requested<br \/>3.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/schoolcraft.edu\/registration\">Register<\/a>&nbsp;for classes for the Winter semester when registration becomes available. (Must register at least half-time (minimum of 6 credit hours) to be eligible.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<p><strong>Students must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the program:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Michigan resident (which is based on the parent for dependent students)<\/li><li>Have worked in an essential industry at least half-time for 11 of the 13 weeks between April 1 &#8211; June 30, 2020<\/li><li>Have been required by their job to work outside the home at least some of the time between April 1 &#8211; June 30, 2020<\/li><li>Have a HS diploma or equivalent (GED)**<\/li><li>Not have previously earned an associate or bachelor&#8217;s degree<\/li><li>Not be in default on a Federal student loan<\/li><li>Complete a Futures scholarship application by 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2020.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p>*This award will only cover&nbsp;<strong>in-district tuition rate<\/strong>&nbsp;for eligible students. This award will only pay out once a student&#8217;s Pell grant award, or any tuition restricted award (excluding TIP) they are eligible for have paid out to their account.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>**There is different eligibility criteria for students without a high school diploma.
