out would have been a mistake.\u202f It allowed me to become well versed around the campus and come to know many&nbsp;faculty&nbsp;and students alike.\u202f I&nbsp;even&nbsp;got to appear on the Schoolcraft website.\u202f\u202f From professional development to personal friendships, the experience gained from this program was extremely valuable.\u202f None&nbsp;of which would have happened meaningful experience.\u202f One of my biggest goals was to help students feel connected from the first time they&nbsp;step&nbsp;on campus by highlighting the many resources available and creating a welcoming environment.\u202f&nbsp;Through this role, I was able to make a real impact while also developing my own leadership and communication skills.\u202f It made me feel more confident, engaged,
