{"id":36,"date":"2022-03-09T19:14:53","date_gmt":"2022-03-09T19:14:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stgschoolcraft.wpengine.com\/accounts\/?page_id=36"},"modified":"2025-04-25T17:42:40","modified_gmt":"2025-04-25T17:42:40","slug":"make-payments","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.schoolcraft.edu\/accounts\/make-payments\/","title":{"rendered":"Make Payments"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Make Payments<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Questions regarding payments can be directed to student accounts staff in Student Financial Services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-genesis-blocks-gb-container callout-primary gb-block-container\"><div class=\"gb-container-inside\"><div class=\"gb-container-content\">\n<p> <strong>All Tuition and Fees are Due within 3 Weekdays of Registration:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Y<span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">ou may either make payment in full or&nbsp; enroll in the&nbsp;<\/span><a style=\"font-size: 1rem\" href=\"\/accounts\/make-payments\/tuition-payment-plan\/\">college\u2019s payment plan<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\"> which offers you added flexibility and convenience.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">If you choose to pay in full you can do so online using&nbsp;<\/span><a style=\"font-size: 1rem\" href=\"http:\/\/www.schoolcraft.edu\/priority\">Ocelot Access<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">&nbsp;or in person at the&nbsp;<\/span><a style=\"font-size: 1rem\" href=\"#cashiers\">Cashier\u2019s Offic<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">e&nbsp;in the McDowell Center.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Additional Information:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-genesis-blocks-gb-accordion gb-block-accordion\"><details><summary class=\"gb-accordion-title\">MET<\/summary><div class=\"gb-accordion-text\">\n<p> <li>Students\u00a0using\u00a0<strong>MET<\/strong>\u00a0for the first time at Schoolcraft College must contact the State of Michigan at 800-638-4543 to initiate your contract. Returning MET students must contact the Student Accounts office, each semester to arrange for your MET funds to be applied to your student account.\u00a0<\/li><\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-genesis-blocks-gb-accordion gb-block-accordion\"><details><summary class=\"gb-accordion-title\"> MESP or other 529 College Savings Plan<\/summary><div class=\"gb-accordion-text\">\n<p>Students using&nbsp;<strong>MESP<\/strong>&nbsp;or other&nbsp;<strong>529 college savings plan<\/strong>&nbsp;accounts to pay tuition and fees can be held in classes by emailing <a href=\"mailto:cashiers@schoolcraft.edu\">cashiers@schoolcraft.edu<\/a> &nbsp;a confirmation of disbursement from the 529 plan administrator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Be sure the request to hold classes includes the following details:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Student\u2019s name\/ student number<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Schoolcraft College as the Payee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Term\/ Semester<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Confirmation Number<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Amount of funding must match the balance of tuition and fees owed for the respective semester.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Example: If a student is sending 529 confirmation for Winter 2025 and the tuition and fee total is $2500, the amount of funding on the confirmation must match this amount.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please Note:<\/strong>&nbsp; Notice of funding will need to be provided every semester where a student is using their MESP \/ 529 college savings plan account.&nbsp; Funding amount on disbursement confirmation must match the exact amount of tuition and fee charges for the respective semester to be held in your classes.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"cashiers\">Cashier&#8217;s Office<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Cashier\u2019s Office is located near the front entrance to the McDowell Center on the college\u2019s main campus in Livonia. Delinquent accounts are turned over to a collection agency and will be reported to credit bureaus.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Any type of refund may be applied as payment to reduce or pay off the debt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A $25 fee will be applied to any returned check.
