in the Middle East\, yet they all taste differently\, based on their regio
n. \;\n Middle Eastern food is known to be healthy and is a part of
many healthy diets.\n The most common dishes known in U.S. restaurants
are hummus\, tabbouleh\, and grape leaves.\n Presentation will include
recipes\, nutrition information\, and tasting!\n\n\nHibatullah Safah has
been an educator for over 20 years\, teaching Arabic and French as a forei
gn language. In addition\, she worked as a curriculum coordinator for teac
hing Arabic as a foreign language in Detroit and has been teaching Arabic
at Schoolcraft. \;\n\nShe believes that learning a foreign language op
ens students' minds to new cultures\, ways of expression and possibilities
for rich and satisfying careers in the world market. \;
