CES 9550 - Strength Training for Seniors

During the past several years, many studies have highlighted the health value of strength training for aging adults. Strengthening the major muscle groups of the upper and lower body improves metabolism, increases bone mineral density, and can reduce arthritic discomfort. At your own fitness level, enjoy great music, warm-up time, strength exercises, and stretching and relaxation. Wear exercise clothing. Please bring a mat, towel and water bottle to class.*
