No doubt about it, exercise is a big plus for both you and your baby! Swimming, an aerobic exercise, increases the ability of your pregnant body to process oxygen and use it. While burning calories, it makes you feel better by improving circulation. It increases muscle tone preparing you and your body for birth. You'll sleep better and feel less fatigued. Swimming is safe, but be sure to discuss your exercise plans with your doctor.*
